ITV has pulled tonight’s episode of fantasy drama Jekyll and Hyde from its schedule following the attacks that occurred in Paris on Friday November 13th.
The show’s creator Charlie Higson took to his Twitter account this morning to announce the schedule change, which was later confirmed by ITV.
The episode, which was due to air at 7pm, contained scenes of violence involving firearms, according to the official synopsis.
An ITV spokesperson told RadioTimes.com: “Tonight’s episode of Jekyll and Hyde has been postponed in consideration of recent events in Paris.”
The scheduled 6:30pm news has been replaced by an episode of Celebrity Chase while an extended news programme focussing on recent events is due to air at 7.30pm
It’s not yet clear when the postponed Jekyll and Hyde episode will air.
