Sarah Hadland recently hinted to RadioTimes.com that she and Miranda planned to reunite – and now she’s revealed that their BBC1 sitcom might be getting a big screen outing.
“I’m hopeful that we will do a film,” she told chat show host Alan Carr. “There will be something else. Yeah, I’m sure. I think there will be something in the future definitely.”
The much-loved BBC1 sitcom came to an end on New Year’s Day with a two-part festive special. “I know it’s really cheesy but we really are a really close cast so it was really sad,” said Hadland who plays Miranda’s best friend Stevie in the show, recalling the finale. “I see her all the time so I wasn’t that sad because I was like ‘I’ll see you tomorrow when we go for a coffee’. The last recording was horrific. We were all crying it was horrendous. Really, really sad.”
Hadland will next appear in Channel 4 election comedy Ballot Monkeys, in which she plays a UKIP party member.
