After getting a little bit uptight in the jungle on Saturday night’s show, Homes Under the Hammer presenter Martin Roberts has shown he’s a pretty good sport after all with what looks like a solid display in his first Bushtucker Trial, the ominously titled Hell Hollow.
As you can see in the clip below, it involves being shut in a metal “coffin” which slowly fills up with water – oh, and snakes – and Martin uses his deadpan wit to help him through the ordeal…
“Oh great, lovely,” he says as he realises he’s being joined in the tank by snakes. “Hi, lovely, nice to meet you. I’m not edible…”
He even starts singing (sort of) to keep his spirits up (we think it’s supposed to be Always Look On the Bright Side of Life).
“They’re trying to strangle me, they don’t like the song. They don’t like the song!”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back tonight, Sunday 20th November, at 9pm on ITV
