Have you heard? The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her second child. Hurrah! Ring the bells of Big Ben, crack open the bubbly, and belt out God Save the Queen. Royal Baby fever is upon us once again. 


Twitter is already celebrating, with #RoyalBaby, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Clarence House all trending. And, as usual, the responses are well worth a read. Here are a few of our favourites…

The news first broke on Twitter earlier this morning with Clarence House announcing Kate’s pregnancy.

Prime Minister David Cameron was quick off the mark to congratulate the young royals. 

Closely followed by Labour leader Ed Miliband and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

The Queen and Prince Charles’s parody accounts didn’t disappoint.
