Bananas British sitcom This Is Jinsy ended last week – some of us thought it was the best comedy of the year, but since it was tucked away on Sky Atlantic, inevitably its viewing figures weren’t enormous. If you didn’t get round to seeing it, or if you don’t have Sky, help is now very much at hand.
This Is Jinsy is out to buy on DVD today – and we have TEN copies to give away to our loyal, discerning Twitter followers.
What you must do is this. Imagine yourself as a resident of the island of Jinsy. What would your name be? Because nobody there is called John Smith or Amy Jones: Jinsymen and Jinsywomen rejoice under such monikers as Hoovard Tuv, Jesric Underdone, Briiian Raggatan, Tracee Henge, Joon Boolay (played by Harry Hill, above), Roopina Crale and Mr Slightlyman.
Simply invent your own Jinsyname – it could be based on your real name, or pure invention – tweet it by next Monday to us @RadioTimes with the hashtag #jinsyRT, and Trince is your uncle! If yours is one of the ten best we receive, we’ll send you a shiny disc full of Jinsy for you to enjoy at your leisure – alone, or with your colleagues, friends or grandparents.
Happy Jinsynaming and good luck!
