The former Top Gear trio will film the opening live studio audience segment of their Amazon Prime car show The Grand Tour in “a giant tent” in Johannesburg this July, with free tickets on offer to fans who enter Amazon’s competition.

Expected to be available on the streaming service from this autumn, each episode of The Grand Tour will come from a different location around the world and, judging by Clarkson’s tweets, will involve the same sorts of harebrained escapades former Top Gear fans are used to seeing the boys put themselves through…
