Smith and her co-star Penelope Wilton both picked up the iconic Star Wars weapons for the second instalment of Rob James-Collier’s charity sci-fi parody mash-up, which saw Thomas Barrow going head-to-head with Brendan Coyle’s Mr Bates once again.

The whole house gets in on the Star Wars action, with Lady Mary paying homage to the franchise’s leading lady, while lamenting about her lost loves and list of potential partners yet to come.

Yes Mary, Henry WAS rather good in The Good Wife, wasn’t he?

Oh, and there’s plenty to keep the Mr Carson and Mrs Hughes fans happy too, with Barrow bursting in on them in a rather compromising position.

James-Collier’s original creation – Downton Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Valet – saw Mr Barrow running riot with a lightsaber in order to try and raise £10,000 for Chilterns MS Centre.

He wrote the script and filmed most of the masterpiece on his iPhone, before popping the video online via YouTube channel Act on This – The TV Actor’s Network.

The actor managed to raise more than £15,000 for the charity and released the second instalment as a thank you for those who helped him achieve his target.

Now, hands up who thinks Darth Dowager is crying out for a Star Wars spinoff?
