You’ve probably already read the footage summaries, seen the photos and watched the leaked video online – but we’re still celebrating the official release of the first Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer.
After the teaser emerged online yesterday Marvel studios have seemingly chosen to release the official version a week earlier than planned, so now we can all enjoy a big robot man hitting a green guy in the face in glorious HD.
The trailer includes the aforementioned Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) royal rumble, a bit of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) rage, lots of explosions, what looks like a ballet class for some reason and the first real look we’ve gotten at this film’s Disney song-loving robot villain Ultron (James Spader).
We also got brief glimpses of new recruits Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), who look to be on Ultron’s team, at least for the beginning, as well as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Lord of the Rings/Planet of the Apes actor Andy Serkis in an unknown role.
Take a look for yourself – assuming you haven’t seen it all already…
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in summer 2015
