Adam Brody and Martin Freeman are teaming up for a new TV series to air on streaming service Crackle.
Created by Ben Ketai, the show is set in Miami and follows several strangers who attempt to ‘incubate’ a brilliant yet controversial tech idea despite not necessarily fitting the mould of your typical tech entrepreneur.
Using dirty money to fund their tech company, at the same time as forging ties with a Haitian gang, the group’s attempts to build a business are soon overshadowed by their fight to stay alive, especially when a vehement FBI agent (Freeman) gets on their tail.
Brody – best known for playing Seth Cohen in The OC – stars as Nick Talman, “a sharp and intelligent financier at a boutique firm in Miami,” according to Variety.
Also starring Edi Gathegi (The Blacklist) and Otmara Marrero, the series begins filming this week in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
