Hollyoaks: new trio of hunks to play Grace Black’s brothers

Adam, Liam and Jesse to make their debuts next month

Three new faces are to make their Hollyoaks debut when the “bold and brazen” Donovan brothers arrive this April.

Essex boys Adam, Liam and and Jesse are to be introduced as the half brothers of Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and will soon be seen bickering over girls and getting territorial over hair gel as they make their presence felt.

Jimmy Essex will play eldest brother Adam, the conscience of the clan who doesn’t dare stray over the lines that ruthless Grace regularly crosses. Speaking today, Essex said of his signing:

“I’m so thrilled to be starting the show. Hollyoaks is already starting to feel like home. Adam has some amazing storylines coming up and I can’t wait to share them with the fans. The Donovan brothers are definitely going to cause a stir!”

Maxim Baldry takes on the role of commitment-shy ladies’ man Liam. On what we can expect to see from his character, the actor commented: “I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Liam but if his first scenes are anything to go by, he’s going to get to know some of the Hollyoaks ladies very well…”

Luke Jerdy will portray youngest brother Jesse, described by soap bosses as being “a fool for love who is always one date away from being head over heels”.

“I’m really happy to be joining the team at Hollyoaks,” he said this morning. “There’s an exciting collective energy and positive spirit to make the show the best it can be.”
