Frank Clayton’s relationship with Megan may be over before it’s even had a chance to get going when an encounter with a mysterious face from his past threatens to ruin everything in next week’s Emmerdale.
Early on in the week, it’s clear that Jai is unhappy with Megan and Frank spending time together. He doesn’t want his baby daughter Eliza to be around an ex-convict like Frank, and he makes his feelings known.
Meanwhile, Megan is curious about what Frank did to end up in prison and asks him about his criminal past. She’s not sure if she wants to continue with their relationship when she finds out about his conviction, but Leyla’s optimistic it can work and tries to persuade her to give him a chance.
Later, Frank decides to treat Megan to a meal at a swanky restaurant. He doesn’t have a care in the world until he sees the waiter, Bobby, who recognises him.
On the way to bathroom, Bobby confronts Frank and blames him for ruining his life. What could he have done that was so terrible?
Frank conceals all of this from Megan but she’s left disappointed the next day when he makes an excuse to sneak away early. What more is there to discover about Frank’s past? Would Megan think differently of him if she found out? And could it put an end to their relationship?
