It’s all kicking off at Home Farm next week when Chrissie’s big cover-up is revealed – and Diane ends up lashing out. Yes, upcoming episodes of Emmerdale will see Rebecca finally get the evidence she needs to prove that Chrissie framed Andy for shooting Lawrence. And Diane in particular isn’t going to take the revelation lying down.
Scenes to be shown on Wednesday 9 November will see a raging Diane burst into the kitchen at Home Farm, determined to make the Whites pay. Lawrence attempts to bat off her accusations, but there’s no stopping Diane: she knows a cover-up when she sees one.
By Thursday, the drama will have intensified after Diane learns that there’s to be a PR event at the adventure course. Later that day, Diane, Rodney and Doug gather at the entrance to wave placards and urge guests not to go in. And this is only the beginning of the pressure – there’s also the matter of the rock being flung through the window of Home Farm, but is Diane really responsible?
Well, Chrissie certainly thinks so – hence her serving Doug, Bernice and Diane with an eviction notice at Brook Cottage by the end of the week. With the animosity between the Sugdens and the Whites showing no sign of abating, you can expect Diane to inflame an already tense situation when she warns Lachlan that his lies will eat at him if doesn’t confess.
Lachlan then films Diane on his phone goads her until she smacks him! Not the best move for someone trying to take the moral high ground – so has Diane gone too far this time?
