Coronation Street: David to kill Kylie’s murderer Clayton?

A showdown in next week's episodes of Corrie could turn deadly

David Platt looks set to take revenge in next week’s episodes of Coronation Street when he catches up with Clayton, the thug who killed his wife Kylie.

Last Friday’s episode saw David left grief stricken when Kylie died before his eyes after being knifed in a showdown outside the kebab shop.

Now, viewers can expect David to lose control after spotting Clayton – who is currently on the run from the police – threatening Gemma to keep her mouth shut.

Grabbing a piece of scaffolding from the builders’ yard, an angry David pins Clayton to the ground and vows to make him pay for taking his wife and the mother of his children from him. With the pain still raw, will David end up doing something he regrets?

Speaking recently about what Corrie fans can expect to see, actor Jack P Shepherd said:

“David has to try and keep it together for the sake of the children but he wants to blame someone for what has happened. He is angry at the world – he and Kylie were so close to having the perfect life and now he is a single dad and a widower.

“He is lashing out and behaving in a way which really starts to worry his family. There’s a lot more drama in the coming months as David struggles to come to terms with losing Kylie.”
