There was suicide, impossible, deception, deceit, and a reformed hero. These may be the makings of a great drama, but even such core ingredients can fail to mesh if not handled with care.
The Ghost Hunters, the book on which Harry Price was based, is a best-seller, so the production already had the weight of Neil Spring’s fantastic novel upon its shoulders.
