It's time to say goodbye to Outlander.
The eighth episode of Outlander's final season is now available on MGM+, meaning there are just two instalments left until we have to say goodbye to Claire and Jamie for good.
The latest episode, titled In the Forest, saw Claire and Jamie receiving an unexpected visitor on the Ridge. It was an episode that was all about healing, after a brutal episode 7 that included a major character death.
There's now set to be a short break between episodes 8 and 9, meaning fans will have slightly longer to wait than usual. But when will the episode actually be released?

When is Outlander season 8 episode 9 on MGM+?
Outlander season 8 episode 9 will drop on streaming service MGM+ on Saturday 9 May 2026.
The final season premiered on MGM+ in the UK on Saturday 7 March 2026, just one day after it debuted in the US on STARZ, meaning there's no major wait for episodes to cross the pond.
Going forward, episodes will be released on Saturdays in the UK and on Fridays in the US, until the finale in mid-May.
