Mark Gatiss joins the Women of Sherlock at the Radio Times Festival

The Sherlock co-creator and Doctor Who writer joins Una Stubbs, Amanda Abbington, Louise Brealey, Sue Vertue and Steven Moffat on the panel

If you’re going to talk about Sherlock having the co-creators present is surely elementary (my dear Watson) so the addition of Mark Gatiss to the Radio Times Festival line-up will doubtlessly prove exciting for fans of the series.

He couldn’t make it to San Diego Comic Con but Gatiss – who recently penned a new episode of Doctor Who – will join Sherlock partner in crime Steven Moffat, producer Sue Vertue, Una ‘Mrs Hudson’ Stubbs, Louise ‘Molly Hooper’ Brealey and Amanda ‘Mary Morstan’ Abbington for a very special discussion about the women who keep Mr Holmes on the case on Sunday 27th September.

The Women of Sherlock will be in session from 5–6pm, and doubtless have plenty to talk about: the man from 221b Baker Street has been off our screens for 18 months now, and an air date for his much-anticipated Victorian Christmas Special has yet to be confirmed.

It’ll be a busy weekend for Moffat, who is also in attendance on Friday September 25th to talk Time Lords with Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi, producer Brian Minchin and former guest star Frank Skinner.

Join Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat and the Women of Sherlock at the Radio Times Festival. Tickets available here.

And if you want to put your questions to the 12th Time Lord, don’t miss the Doctor Who session on Friday 25th September. Book your tickets here.
