Warner Bros confirms a stand-alone Batman flick is in the works

Batfleck will be back for a new solo instalment

Ben Affleck’s caped crusader is poised for his own solo adventure.

Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed that Batfleck would be back, expanding his role in the superhero universe.

We already knew Affleck was contracted to don the black cape and Batman growl at least another two times for Justice League One and Two – and that he was at least working on a script for a solo Batman movie. But it’s clear Warner Bros is now giving that film its backing, with Tsujihara suggesting the 43-year-old might even take on a role behind the camera, listing him as a “filmmaker” alongside Aquaman director James Wan.
