Another week, another arrest in the Barlow whodunnit – and this time it’s Adam who’s having to explain his actions to the investigating officers.
The cliffhanger moment comes after Adam starts to dig into the case in an attempt to take himself out of the frame and discovers that Tracy’s movements on the night in question can’t be accounted for.
With Luke having let slip that he wasn’t with Tracy at the time of Ken’s assault, Adam is soon confronting her about what happened.
And it seems that Adam investigative efforts don’t stop there: by next Wednesday, he’ll be seen taking Amy out for lunch to get to the bottom of the situation.
The trouble is, that Amy takes offence and storms out and later calls the police, telling them to check the fingerprints on the new kitchen worktop that Phelan fitted on the night of the accident.
Scenes to be shown on Friday 21 April will then see Adam arrested as the police reveal that aforementioned worktops have fingerprints on them belonging to the accused.
Seeing as they were only fitted on the night of Ken’s assault, will Adam be able to explain his own whereabouts, seeing as he was supposed to be in Canada when his granddad was pushed?
Later on, when Amy reveals to Tracy how she reported Adam to the police and that’s why he’s been arrested, Tracy starts to secretly wonder that her daughter might be covering her own tracks.
So is Amy actually the one on whom the police should be focusing? Or is there more to Adam’s actions than meets the eye?
