Eric Pollard looks set to wreak revenge upon Chrissie White next week when she considers changing her plea in court.
Chrissie – whose rash actions caused the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Ruby and Val – returns to the village to face the music.
Her intention, as she outlines in a letter to Eric, is to plead guilty. But following a conversation with Robert, Chrissie ends up reconsidering her options.
“Robert suggests changing her plea so that she doesn’t go to prison,” says actress Louise Marwood. “She wants to be punished and do what’s right. But she’s utterly terrified about being locked up. And she knows that this is a very real prospect for her.”
However, in the wake of the court hearing, a furious Pollard will be seen crashing into Home Farm armed with a cricket bat and with the intention of confronting Chrissie.
“Working with a very menacing Pollard has been fun.” adds Marwood. “Chrissie is trying to piece her life together but she has no friends left in the village. Things will never be the same for Chrissie.”
