Glee’s Amber Riley wins Dancing with the Stars

Strictly Come Dancing judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli called the star's final performance "fantastic" and "incredible"

We might still have four weeks left until our Strictly champion gets their hands on the glitter ball, but over in America the winner has already been crowned.

Amber Riley, who played Mercedes in hit drama Glee, has won the US version, Dancing with the Stars, with the help of her professional dancing partner Derek Hough.

The 27-year-old actress was praised by the judges, who include our very own Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. Len called her “absolutely bedazzling”. “Your performance is faultless,” added Bruno. “Unbelievable. Incredible.”

Of her win, Riley said: “I want to let women of all sizes out there know that you can do whatever you put your mind to. It doesn’t matter what size you are, what colour you are…you can do whatever, whatever, whatever, you put your mind to.”

Her Glee co-stars have since taken to Twitter to congratulate the star for her moves on the dance floor.

Take a look at her winning dance, which was awarded full marks by the show’s judges:

How do you think she’d fare up against Natalie Gumede, Ashley Taylor Dawson and co?
