Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff was in hospital this morning.
The dancer revealed that she had been in so much pain with her injured toe that she was hoping to have an anaesthetic injection.
However, Ben Cohen’s pro dancing partner has now tweeted to say doctors have advised her she can’t have an injection but will be given stronger painkillers instead.
There has, of course, been other hospital drama of late with former Coronation Street star Natalie Gumede ordered to miss last week’s show and rest after fainting during rehearsals – but it looks as though there’ll be a full complement of dancers heading to Blackpool for this weekend’s on-location show.
And the dances are getting dramatic as the show races ever closer to the final.
Ola Jordan has revealed her Hollyoaks partner Ashley Taylor Dawson is getting “aggressive” this week, warning there’ll be “No more Mr Nice Guy”.
BBC Breakfast’s Susanna Reid has also been enjoying the drama of learning the Paso Doble, adding another nickname to her partner Kevin Clifton’s portfolio – ‘The Toreador’.
Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor is going her own way, however, and is looking for excitement outside of the ballroom, asking her Twitter followers, “tell me, is the roller coaster in action?! Want to have a go.”
In this cold weather? We’ll leave that one to you Sophie!
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 6:30pm on BBC1
