Lady Gaga drools over EastEnders’ Dot as she gets some motherly advice from actress June Brown

Gaga says she’s a “big fan” of June Brown, the actress behind Dot Branning - while the Walford star warns the singer about her latest song title

Lady Gaga and EastEnders star June Brown are a seemingly odd pairing on this week’s The Graham Norton Show, but Gaga reveals she’s a big fan of the actress who plays Dot Branning.

Asked if she’s even familiar with the soap, June attempts to avoid Gaga’s blushes by saying, “No, don’t say yes darling. If you’re not you’re not and I don’t blame you. It’s alright.”

But as it turns out Gaga is a big fan. “I am and actually I am a really big fan of yours. You are so fabulously dressed and I am honoured to be sitting next to you,” Gaga gushes.

The eccentric singer then takes a swig of June’s wine adding, “I want to drink from your cup to see what those genes are.”

Gaga even goes on to add to June’s outfit with various pins from her own rather large headdress. It’s a wonder fellow guests comedian Greg Davies and actor Jude Law get a word in.

But June has some advice for the singer, who stunned audiences with a shell bikini clad performance on The X Factor last month. Talking in reference to Gaga’s latest track, which Gaga performs on the show, June says, “As for ‘Do What You Want With My Body’, I don’t advise you say that to everybody.”

Wise words June, wise words.
