There’s nothing to see in cryptic teaser for Homeland series three

The first trailer for the upcoming new season teases fans with snippets of conversation, but no visuals

There’s nothing to see in this new teaser trailer for Homeland series three… No glimpse of Brody on the run or Carrie covering up for him at Langley. No Saul, no Quinn, no Dana. Nothing but a blank screen, some flashes of light and the date the season kicks off on American network Showtime.

But that doesn’t make this 30-second teaser any less exciting…

The short but sweet clip contains beeps, chiming clocks, white noise and a few tantalising phrases. “Does Carrie know I’m here?” asks Brody. “We don’t know where he is” says Saul. Then come the words “no more” and “help me” before we hear some snippets of Arabic and the teaser comes to an abrupt close like the disconnecting of a phone call.

What does it all mean? Well, we guess we’ll just have to wait until the start of series three to find out…

Homeland series three will return to Channel 4 later this year
