Fireman Paul Kershaw (Tony Hirst) is set to punch cabbie Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles) as Corrie’s racism row continues in next week’s episodes.
After Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) lodges a complaint against Paul concerning his use of racist language, he assumes that it was Lloyd who filed the accusation.
Storming into the Rovers, Paul confronts a clueless Lloyd, only for Karl (John Michie) to bundle the two men outside. Paul then punches Lloyd, just as the police arrive. But as the officers grab Paul, Jenna (Krissi Bohn) reveals that it was Sophie who made the call. So will Paul charged and how will this latest turn of events affect his already strained relationship with Eileen (Sue Cleaver)? Find out in the episodes airing on Monday 29 July.
