Secrets and lies look set to be exposed on Coronation Street later this month as Carla and Nick’s wedding comes under threat, while Callum’s corpse is excavated from No 8.
Carla is, of course, trying to stop Tracy from revealing all about her ill-judged one-night stand with Robert. The Platts, meanwhile, are hiding the fact that the final resting place of drug dealer Callum is under the floor of Gail’s granny flat.
Now, past actions look set to catch up with them all over five episodes that will cover a 24-hour period of Weatherfield life.
Corrie bosses are planning a week of “shocks and surprises” as Callum’s cadaver is unearthed just as Tracy is trying to destroy Carla’s happiness.
Viewers will see Carla’s protective dad Johnny lock Tracy in a store cupboard at the factory to prevent her from wreaking revenge. But will Carla make it down the aisle? And will Nick’s brain injury end up causing additional upset?
As has already been announced, Alison King is set to leave the ITV soap, but Coronation Street is remaining tight lipped as to whether or not Carla will drive off happily into the sunset.
And with Paula Lane also nearing her departure date, fans will no doubt be left wondering what Kylie’s fate will be after the police pay a visit to the Platts’…
