Proof that Poldark star Aidan Turner can dance like a total pro

As if perfecting the smouldering cliff stare wasn't enough for the Irish star of the new BBC period drama, now he's gone and proved he's got moves, too...

He’s been sweeping the nation off its feet in BBC’s Poldark but did you know Aidan Turner was quite the mover and shaker in real life?

A behind-the-scenes clip from the set of Poldark reveals that the smouldering star of the classic adaptation has absolutely no trouble shaking his tailfeather in costume.

Turner has been a big hit with viewers, with his hair in particular inspiring quite the reaction on Twitter. He’s even had his Mr Darcy moment within the first two episodes.

Is there anything the man can’t do?

Of course, the Irish actor didn’t start throwing some serious shapes for no reason.

The cast had assembled to film a formal ballroom scene but instead of traditional 18th century music, Mas Que Nada was blasted out, inspiring an impromptu dance extravaganza during which Turner took the lead with ease.
