X Factor final three reveal the songs they’ll sing at Wembley Arena

It all comes down to this weekend for the X Factor finalists as Luke Friend, Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald’s first two song choices are revealed

After weeks of auditions, a tough Bootcamp, that dreaded game of musical chairs and a smattering of live shows, the final three have been chosen.

Louis Walsh’s boys category sees both Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald make it into the top three, along with Sharon Osbourne’s Sam Bailey from the Overs category.

If the semi-final is anything to go by, with Sam having the audience in tears, Nicholas blubbing himself and Luke dropping to his knees in the sing-off, the final will be an emosh-fest.

Well, Nicole Scherzinger makes up words, I might as well join in, eh?

The final itself is going to be chock-a-block with celebrity guests, including Elton John, Katy Perry, The Killers, One Direction and Tom Odell.

But really it’s all about the finalists and who can take home the 2013 X Factor crown. On Saturday night they’re each performing a song from previous weeks in the series, as well as one final big track they’re hoping will scoop them the title.

One act will leave at the end of Saturday night’s show. Here are the songs they’re hoping will stop it being them:

Luke Friend

1. We Are Young by Fun

2. What Makes You Beautiful – a version of One Direction’s track from Luke’s week 7 performance

Nicholas McDonald

1. Candy by Robbie Williams

2. Angel by Sarah McLachlan – from Nicholas’s week 3 performance

Sam Bailey

1. Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga

2. Power of Love by Jennifer Rush – from Sam’s week 1 performance
