You've only nine more days to wait until The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in cinemas, but you can get a few more sneak peeks at the film before then in these clips.

Following on from last week's sword-tastic scene featuring Gandalf and Bilbo and that seven minute "trailer" which landed online last month, these six new clips feature everything from an encounter with Gollum to a scene bordering on slapstick in which a posse of dwarves fall over the threshold of chez Baggins:

The film premiered in Wellington, New Zealand on Wednesday 28 November, and you can see a video replay of the red carpet event here.

Directed by Peter Jackson and starring Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellen and Richard Armitage, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will open in UK cinemas on Thursday 13 December 2012.
