Back in March 2020, Disney Plus entered the UK market, and after just a few years they boast over 150 million subscribers and have made themselves one of the streaming world's kingpins. Those who subscribe can enjoy classic films like Toy Story and The Lion King as well as newer flics like Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Golden Globe winner The Banshees of Inisherin.

Disney Plus isn't just home to films but also popular series such Percy Jackson and the Olympians and reality choices like The Kardashians and Banged Up Abroad. If you're signed up to Disney Plus, you can watch all of these and hundreds more without interruption.

That is, of course, until you’re not connected to the Wi-Fi. Relying on public Wi-Fi or data is a recipe for buffering. Similarly, as you can stream Disney Plus videos on up to four devices at the same time, doing so will slow your home Wi-Fi right down.

Luckily, you can download all content from Disney Plus and watch it on the go, but only if you've got the right subscription plan. If you pay for the Standard Plan or Premium Plan (from £7.99 a month) you can download series, films and shows to your heart's content.

Currently, the cost of Disney Plus varies depending on your plan, the pricing is usually as follows: the Standard with Ads plan costs £4.99 a month, the Standard plan costs £7.99 a month (or £79.90 a year) and the Premium plan costs £10.99 a month (or £109.90 a year).

Can you watch downloaded Disney Plus movies offline? Absolutely. Will they automatically be viewed in high-definition? Not necessarily. Disney Plus automatically selects a standard quality for downloading videos.

To change this, open the Disney Plus app, tap on your ‘Profile’ tab which will be at the bottom of your screen, open ‘App settings’, click on ‘Video quality’, and select your choice of video quality (‘High’, ‘Medium’ or ‘Standard’). Remember, the higher quality a video is, the more storage it’ll take up.

You need to log into your Disney Plus account at least once every 30 days so your downloads don’t expire.
