EastEnders: What’s pushed Ian Beale to the edge of a bridge?

Actor Adam Woodyat has been pictured filming shocking scenes at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Will the pressure of keeping son Bobby’s big secret send Ian Beale spiralling? That’s the question on soap fans’ lips after actor Adam Woodyat was spotted teetering on the edge of an east London bridge. Woodyat has been pictured out and about with the EastEnders crew, filming fairly dramatic scenes at the city’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Viewers have watched Ian struggle to cope with the revelation that his youngest son killed daughter Lucy on Good Friday back in 2014 since the truth came out in February.

And in recent weeks he’s been worried about wife Jane’s ability to cope with her own guilt while friend Carol’s brother Max languishes in prison, charged with a crime he didn’t commit.

Actress Laurie Brett, who was also on location, has also been spotted filming emotional graveyard scenes.

She appears to have ventured to Lucy’s grave, but what is she saying to her step-daughter?

Back at the river, a tormented Ian is teetering on the edge.

What has pushed him to consider plummeting? And will Jane be able to talk him down?
