Coronation Street: Nick’s exit storyline revealed – will he die in quicksand tragedy?

Actor Ben Price is leaving Corrie - but is Nick set for a gruesome death?

Is Nick Tilsley set to be killed off when actor Ben Price bows out of Coronation Street next week?

It’s the question that all Corrie fans will be asking when a trip to the seaside goes horribly wrong, leaving Nick’s life on the line.

As part of a week of special episodes (airing weeknights at 9:00pm), Leanne will be seen trying to get her nearest and dearest to put their differences aside when she, Nick, Toyah, Peter and Steve all have a day out at the coast.

But tempers look set to fray when Leanne discovers that Nick could have cleared Peter’s name when it came to the identity of Ken’s attacker, but chose to keep quiet.

In a big bust-up, Leanne ends her relationship with Nick, leaving him devastated. After being told that the best thing would be for him to walk out to sea as they’d all be better off without him, Nick suddenly finds himself being sucked into treacherous quicksand.

Scenes to be shown on Wednesday 31 May will see Nick sucked down deeper, but as he pulls out his mobile, he drops it and watches in anguish as it sinks out of reach.

Now up to his waste in water, Nick notices with panic that the tide is rapidly rising. Will help get to him before it’s too late or will there be a tragic end to Nick’s time on the Street?
