Coronation Street: is David going to kill himself?

Gail finds a troubling farewell message on her son's laptop - is he about to end it all?

Gail will be left fearing that troubled son David is going to kill himself in next week’s Coronation Street when she finds a chilling farewell video on his laptop.

The shock discovery comes at the end of an unsettling week that sees David walk out of the salon in the middle of an appointment and head to court to get a glimpse of killer Clayton.

As he fine-tunes his plan for revenge against the man who stabbed Kylie, David later calls at the garage and makes Tyrone, Luke and Freddie an offer on a car that they can’t refuse on a car.

By Friday, an incident at school results in young Max wetting himself – all of which leaves David confiding in Nick that without Kylie, he feels like a failure as a parent.

But it’s only after David decides to take the kids for a spin in the car he’s bought that the Platts work out what his ulterior motive is. After Gail takes a look at David’s computer, her blood runs cold as she watches his goodbye message in horror.

After quizzing Tyrone, Gail is chilled by what she’s told and – with the help of Nick and Sarah – David’s revenge plot dawns on them…but is it too late?
