Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) looks to be getting further with the investigation into Lucy’s murder than the official forces of law and order. Last night, viewers saw him get Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) to confess that he was with prostitute Rainie (Tanya Franks) on the night that Lucy died and that she’s now blackmailing him.
Now, in scenes to be shown this evening on BBC1 at 8pm, Phil will be seen tracking Rainie down and dragging her to the allotments, determined to sort her out once and for all. But what does he intend to do?
Speaking about being reunited on screen with Steve McFadden, actress Tanya Franks said to RadioTimes.com: “I love working with Steve. We enjoy playing off each other and it’s always a pleasure, for me, as an actor. It’s always exciting to work with someone who works in the same instinctive way that you do. We’re a good match in that way.”
