Taskmaster

Four episodes in, this series of “comedians play dares” runs the risk of getting a touch samey, and, one suspects, less fun for the viewers than the competitors themselves. Nevertheless, it’s an easy way to spend an hour, and the bunch certainly make jolly company as they attempt such travails as rescuing a toy cat from a tree, concealing a pineapple about their respective persons – “I could do a courgette”, Katherine Ryan speculates – and constructing an Ikea haven for Taskmaster himself Greg Davies.
