The biggest new releases arriving on Netflix this week include new series such as Fiasco, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and A Man in Full, as well as new comedy film Unfrosted.

• Fiasco season 1 – French mockumentary comedy series about a first-time director struggling to keep his film together when disaster strikes.
• Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar season 1 – Indian series set against the backdrop of the freedom movement, following two nemeses locked in a battle for the succession of Heeramandi, where courtesans reign as queens.
• Kin seasons 1 and 2 – Irish crime drama starring Charlie Cox and Aidan Gillen, following the exploits of the Kinsella crime family in Dublin.
• A Man in Full season 1 – Jeff Daniels stars in this adaptation of the novel by Tom Wolfe, about a real estate mogul fighting for his empire and legacy when he faces sudden bankruptcy.
• Bullet Train (2022) – Action comedy film starring Brad Pitt as a former assassin battling other killers on a bullet train.

• The Mauritanian (2021) – Legal drama film based on the true story of a man who was held without charge in Guantanamo Bay for 14 years, starring Tahar Rahim, Jodie Foster, Shailene Woodley and Benedict Cumberbatch.
• Unnatural – Japanese procedural drama series.

Thursday 2nd May

• 24 Hours in Tesco (2024) – Documentary about the British grocery store chain.
• A Man in Full season 1 – Jeff Daniels stars in this adaptation of the novel by Tom Wolfe, about a real estate mogul fighting for his empire and legacy when he faces sudden bankruptcy.
• Beautiful Rebel (2024) – Italian drama film about the life and career of Gianna Nannini.
• Secrets of the Neanderthal (2024) - Documentary delving into the mysteries surrounding the Neanderthals.

• The Black Phone (2021) – Horror film starring Ethan Hawke from director Scott Derrickson.

• Hatton Garden – ITV factual drama about the Hatton Garden Diamond Heist, starring Timothy Spall.

• The Final: Attack on Wembley (2024) – Documentary film about the 2021 Euro finals, where England fans without tickets stormed Wembley.

• Bodkin season 1 – Darkly comedic thriller starring Will Forte about a crew of podcasters investigating the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town.
• The Guardian of the Monarchs (2024) – Documentary film about the disappearance of activist Homero Gómez, who was vocal about preserving the forests of Michoacán, home to millions of monarch butterflies.

• A Part of You (2024) – Swedish coming-of-age drama film.
• Raising Voices season 1 – Spanish drama series about a 17-year-old who reports a sexual assault at her high school and the investigation that follows.

Best Netflix releases from April 2024

Last month on Netflix also saw a host of big new releases, with series and films such as Ripley, Scoop, Baby Reindeer, Heartbreak High season 2, Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver and Dead Boy Detectives being added to the service.

• Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver (2024) – Second film in Zack Snyder's epic sci-fi project, once again starring Sofia Boutella.
• Dead Boy Detectives season 1 – Supernatural series based on the comic by Neil Gaiman, about two boys who decide not to enter the afterlife and instead stay on Earth investigating supernatural crimes.
• The Asunta Case – Fictional Spanish thriller series inspired by the murder of Asunta Basterra in Spain in 2013.
