Jamie Dornan. Sex dungeon. Any questions? (Maybe about the ‘dungeon’ part?)
To prepare for his role in the upcoming film adaptation of the erotic novels, the actor spent some time in a private S&M dungeon. Where was the dungeon? Why, in the home of the film’s ‘kink advisor’, of course.
“I went there, he offered me a beer, and they did… whatever they were into,” Dornan explained in an interview with ELLE UK. “I was like: ‘Come on guys I know I’m not paying for this but I am expecting a show.'”
What kind of show? “I saw a dominant with two submissives, and he became our kink advisor on the film.”
Well, the life of spanking billionaire Christian Grey can’t all be BMWs and weekend trips to B&Q, can it?
The affair sounds less steamy than the novel’s notorious Red Room. Frankly it all seems a bit awkward. Like so many before him, Dornan had trouble adjusting to life outside the dungeon.
“It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards… I had a long shower before touching either of them.”
One would hope so.
The Northern Irish actor, also known as the marble-eyed serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall, stars opposite co-star Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. The novel by EL James has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, but the film adaptation will tone things down a bit.
That means no full frontal nudity.
