Callum Keith Rennie is set to join the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The 53-year-old British-born actor will play Ray, Anastasia Steele’s step-father, in the big screen adaptation of EL James’ racy novel.
Rennie will join Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson on the set of the film, which is currently in production in Vancouver, Canada.
Rennie’s acting CV includes The Killing, The Firm, Californication, The Butterfly Effect and Blade: Trinity.
Based on the internationally best selling novel by EL James, the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will follow the increasingly x-rated bedroom exploits of millionaire Christian Grey and innocent college graduate Anastasia Steele.
Fifty Shades of Grey, which is directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, produced by Dana Brunetti and adapted by Kelly Marcel, also stars Victor Rasuk, Luke Grimes, Max Martini, Eloise Mumford, Jennifer Ehle, Rita Ora and Marica Gay Harden. The film is expected to hit cinemas in February 2015.
