Period drama fans rejoice. Your Sunday evenings are about to be filled with passion, politics and period dresses once more.

The White Queen, a glossy adaptation of Phillipa Gregory’s bestselling novel, is coming to a telly screen near you this weekend. The series follows three women caught up in the battle for the throne during the War of the Roses – and promises to be a very enjoyable way to spend a Sunday evening.

But what’s your verdict? Was it a fair adaptation of the novel? Perhaps pleasingly more uplifting than The Village? Less soapy than Downton Abbey? More racy than The Paradise?

Tell us what you think and you might just see your words published on Woop!
