There are finally pictures of everything inside the Doctor Who Lego set

As well as the Tardis, there are two Time Lords, Clara Oswald, a Weeping Angel and Daleks in a set which looks to be a nod to regeneration episode The Time of the Doctor

Yesterday we got a sneak peek inside the Tardis, but now we’ve got pictures of blocky Daleks, a Clara Oswald, the eleventh and twelfth Doctors, a Weeping Angel plus useful extra parts like the Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

Here’s what’s inside the Doctor’s Lego world…

The Tardis

Complete with time rotor and telepathic circuits (the pink panel, as used in series eight episode Listen), here’s the time machine from the inside. In case you didn’t know, due to trans-dimensional engineering, it’s actually bigger on the inside than the outside. Here you can also see Clara and the Twelfth Doctor in a face-off with two Daleks…

The Twelfth Doctor

Complete with grey hair and a (rather plastic-y) velvet coat (which may once have belonged to his predecessor*), here’s the Lego Peter Capaldi…

…and the outside of the Tardis…

The Eleventh Doctor, Clara Oswald, and a Weeping Angel

Donning Matt Smith’s signature tweed jacket, he and Clara face the dreaded Weeping Angels. The Lego set looks like it could have been inspired by 2013 episode The Time of the Doctor, in which Matt Smith regenerates into Peter Capaldi* and Daleks and Weeping Angels are also two of the key threats. Plus Clara’s Lego outfit looks remarkably similar…

Sonic screwdriver

It was a good move to include this in the set because as RadioTimes.com has learnt during Under The Lake, some Doctor Who fans really want Peter Capaldi’s Doctor to be reunited with his screwdriver…

The concept for a Doctor Who set came a few months ago from the Lego Ideas website, where fans can submit suggestions for a set and vote for their favourite idea to be produced. Fan Andrew Clark was the only one to get the 10,000 votes needed for The Lego Group to consider it for production.

The Lego is due for release 1st December 2015 and will cost USD $59.99 (which means around £44 in the UK…)

Here are some images showing the figures in more detail…
