Fargo series two trailer gives a first look at Ted Danson and Kirsten Dunst in the snow

The accents are back!

Noah Hawley’s black comedy-drama inspired by the Coen brothers’ 1996 film of the same name was undoubtedly one of the shows of 2014. And despite the fact that Billy Bob Thornton, Sherlock’s Martin Freeman and Breaking Bad’s Bob Odenkirk won’t be returning for the second series, there is still plenty to look forward to from the looks of the first 30-second trailer.

Beyond the now-familiar Minnesota accent, there’s still plenty of snow… Plus a host of big-name cast additions including the force of acting nature that is Ted Danson, Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson and many more.

Set in in 1979 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota, series two features state police officer Lou Solverson who has just returned from his tour of duty in Vietnam and is charged with investigating a local mob syndicate before being assigned to protect Ronald Reagan on his Presidential campaign stop in Fargo.

Enough words, here’s the trailer…

Fargo is expected to return later this year
