Series one of House of Cards broke down barriers in the television industry, becoming the first original online-only series to score Emmy Awards. Now, with four Golden Globe nominations, it goes without saying that the second season of the Kevin Spacey-starring Netflix drama is hotly anticipated.
The last time we saw ruthless politician Frank Underwood (Spacey), he had accepted a nomination for US Vice President. Suffice to say, his road to office isn’t exactly squeaky clean – as demonstrated by the tense and fraught two minutes of new footage debuted here.
Co-starring Robin Wright, as Underwood’s scheming wife Claire, and Kate Mara as Zoe Barnes – an up-and-coming reporter inching closer to the truth about Frank’s crimes – the 13 new episodes will drop in all Netflix territories on 14 February 2014. In the meantime, check out the teaser below…
