The big premier feature of the new update is the Showdown Battle Pass. But that’s not all, as there is the upcoming Fortnite Arenas mode coming later in April.

In the crossover of the ages, we’ll also be getting Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina of Italian Brainrot fame in Fortnite, who you may know from Steal a Brainrot on Roblox or Fortnite Steal the Brainrot.

But you’re here for vanquishing the Ice King and Lady Windfrost, so read on to see just how to do that!

Where is Ice King in Fortnite?

Ice King and Lady Windfrost can be found patrolling main courtyard of the Frigid Fortress in the northern part of the island.

A lot of players will be dropping in on his location, so we recommend landing at the top of the tower, as you will be able to get loot quicker, and you can pick up extra items on your way down to the Ice King and Lady Windfrost.

During this time, other players may whittle down Ice King’s health or be dealt swiftly by them, but keep an eye on the Ice King’s health as you make your way down.

How to defeat Ice King in Fortnite

To defeat the Ice King, focus on quickly taking his shields down with an SMG or pistol, before finishing them off with a more powerful weapon such as an assault rifle or shotgun.

The Ice King’s gloves are extremely powerful, and so you’ll want to make sure you have some cover between you so you can dodge their Ice attacks and extremely dangerous Ice Bomb.

Lady Windfrost will also be part of the boss fight, but it’s not worth focusing on them, as they will automatically be downed when you defeat the Ice King.

As we were popping in and out of cover at close range, we opted for a Rare Chaos Reloader Shotgun, which was ready to fire again by the time we came out of cover again.

Soon enough, the King was dead.

What loot does Ice King have?

When you defeat the Ice King, he will drop the Mythic Ice King’s Gauntlets, and these are extremely useful to have in a match.

You get 100 ammo, and have the normal Ice Attack, which deals 50 damage per hit, and also the Ice Bomb attack, which is an area of effect attack that also continues to damage players after it freezes the area around them.

We found the Ice Bomb attack in particular very useful for flushing out players in the final storm circles who were forced to move out of cover after taking a lot of damage, making the final blow easy.

The Ice Bomb attack uses up 3 ammo has a cool-down of 15 seconds, so it’s best to use this first and then swoop in with the Ice Attack.

As well as the Gauntlets, we got a Chug Jug, gold and some ammo, so others have reported finding a Self-Revive Device as well.

Lady Windforst dropped a Rare Thunder Burst SMG and a Chug Splash.
