Episode 5: There's Strength in Arches

Summary

It's the last episode of the series, so Taskmaster Greg Davies finally gets to present his glorious trophy to the overall champion. But before that triumphant moment, there's still time for more ridiculous task attempts, including Richard Osman doing something appalling with a shopping trolley.

Review

It’s the final episode so the overall winner walks away with the trophy: a golden cast of host Greg Davies’s head. In the prize task, Katherine Ryan pays wry tribute to her role in the feminist revolution with a suffragette coin, but cannot compete with Richard Osman’s signed coaster of 80s darts champion Jocky Wilson. Other tasks include filling a broken shopping trolley and making a stop-motion film starring a potato.

The third series of this excellent game show is already in the pipeline, but the revolution still hasn’t happened, disappointingly: there’ll only be one token female to four male contestants.
