London was home to TV’s most prestigious awards ceremony last night. Yes, it was the Bafta Television Awards, and a street in Covent Garden was cloaked in red carpet to welcome the industry’s hottest directors and starriest stars.
Luckily, RadioTimes.com were also there rubbing shoulders with the great, good and seriously talented in the TV world. We caught up with Bafta host Graham Norton who was doing the rounds before the show kicked off and comedy star Lee Mack who revealed how much he disagreed with the Bafta nominee list.
Davina McCall who was also there to represent Long Lost Family, plus Utopia star and best supporting actor nominee Adeel Akhar stopped by for a quick chat, telling us he was a big fan of Bear Grylls’ The Island, which went on to win an award later in the evening.
Sadly, the golden masks are all handed out and the red carpet has since been whisked away. So if, like us, your Monday is feeling a little flat after all that A-list sparkle, it’s time you relived the excitement of the red carpet with us…
