True Detective series two UK air date confirmed

The HBO series, starring Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, will be shown on Sky Atlantic a day after it premieres in the US


True Detective’s second outing has a UK air date. 


Fans will get to watch the second season of HBO’s True Detective on Sky Atlantic just one day after it premieres in the US. 

The drama, which is set around the corrupt Californian police force, will land on the Sky channel on Monday 22 June.

The show’s first run followed Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as troubled cops pursuing a serial killer in Louisiana over 17 years.

While familiar faces from series one won’t be returning, True Detective’s second season stars Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams.
