ITV delivers one of its modern Christmas traditions this Saturday, the first in the run of Harry Potter films.
The small and adorable Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone begins this Saturday afternoon. Every year we tune in, and every year our first reaction is just how young Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint looked back then. Has it really been 13 years since it came out?
Even wizards and witches have to grow up some day: Radcliffe has sprouted horns, Watson has addressed the UN and Grint has gone to the bright lights of Broadway. But their younger selves are captured forever on camera.
Take yourself back to a simpler time, where chocolate frogs were a legitimate currency and everyone was small enough to ride chess pieces. Oh, and just for comparison, check out how little big old Hagrid has changed in all that time.
Because some things never change…
