Chris Carmack (The O.C), and the cast of hit country show Nashville, just wrapped up shooting for the night on a street off Broadway, Tennessee, after a full day filming the second series.
Claire Bowen, who stars as wannabe country singer Scarlett O’Connor, Sam Palladio who plays Gunnar Scott, and Chris Carmack, who plays closeted gay country singer Will Lexington, were seen filming on 4th Street off of the busy main honky tonk strip in Nashville. Carmack looked the part in his stetson and red checkered shirt.
Scenes took place in front of doorways at the back of lively Broadway bars. One read ‘The Stage Broadway’ and another ‘Jack’s’. A Bentley was parked outside in the alley, which will belong to a new character in the show - a music executive played by Goldie Hawn’s son and Kate Husdson’s brother Oliver Hudson (Rules of Engagement). It’s rumoured that Hudson will play a new love interest for Connie Britton’s character Rayna Jaymes.
In addition to the new character, Chris Carmack, Lennon Stella (Maddie Conrad) and Maisy Stella (Daphne Conrad) will become regulars on the show.
Nashville season 2 premieres in the USA on Sept 25 on ABC, UK air date is yet to be confirmed.
