Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan star in two thrilling new Gatsby trailers

Joel Edgerton, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher also make an appearance in new footage from Baz Luhrmann's much anticipated adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby


There are parties, pools and passion aplenty in new exciting footage from much anticipated film The Great Gatsby.


Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan star in two new trailers for the F Scott Fitzgerald adaptation, which showcase the film’s flamboyant music, lavish parties and passionate love affairs

The trailers also show us glimpses of Gatsby and Daisy’s troubled relationship, tense exchanges between Gatsby and Tom and the demise of Isla Fisher’s character Myrtle Wilson.

The iconic story of the great Mr Gatsby is being adapted by Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann, who is known for his spectacular storytelling.

Set in New York City, The Great Gatsby tells the story of a group of hedonistic young acquaintances navigating the extravagant parties and loose morals of the roaring twenties. Tobey MacGuire plays newcomer Nick Carraway who moves in next door to the mysterious Gatsby, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and is drawn into his world.
