As Carla finds herself facing fire again, I think the time is right to officially crown her as Coronation Street’s unluckiest character. Two husbands dead, raped, a brother in prison for murder – and now a second conflagration, this time at Victoria Court.

The shock cliffhanger will come after Tracy Barlow seeks revenge after Carla scuppers her plans to buy the Rovers Return pub. Sneaking into Carla’s flat, Tracy is soon shown to have murder in mind. But will Carla make it out alive?

You can watch the interview below. Plus a 60-second rundown of next week’s episodes of Corrie.
