Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams plays a teenage girl called Casey who is targeted by an online suicide troll in Channel 4’s chilling one-off drama Cyberbully airing on 15th January.

And the 17-year-old actress was also on hand to help director and writer Ben Chanan get down the kids and capture the latest teen-speak in the drama, which is set entirely in her character’s bedroom.  

“There was a lot of ‘we don’t speak like that’ from Maisie,” Chanan tells RadioTimes.com.

He added that he also enlisted the help of his own teenage daughter to stop the nuances of the language from being sooooo embarrassing and Dad-like…

Williams, who plays Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, has just finished filming the fifth instalment of the HBO fantasy series.
